Behind the Invention of the AC-CORD Wrap
Inventor Sharyn L. Sheen of Janesville, WI, designed theAC-CRD Wrap to reduce her frustration with tangles cords in her briefcase and at home. She compared wrapping and storing her computer cord and adapter to trying to fold a fitted sheet. The bundle was always too bulky to fit in a slim tote and made it difficult for her to fit other items around it.
One day, Sharyn notched a 14" piece of wood and wrapped her cards around it. Bingo! The cord wrapped easily and fit perfectly at the bottom of her bag, without taking up a lot of room. The invention grew into the AC-CORD Wrap. Users simply place the adapter block against the face of the wrap, then wrap the cord through the grooves. Then, hold in place with the Velcro strap to keep everything together!
